The MGV welcomes about 60 passengers in each of its shuttles and some 10,000 to 15,000 passengers a day on the Montreal-Quebec City line ... and that, in addition to carrying merchandise through cargo shuttles.
With shuttles that can depart and follow each other at short intervals, carrying between 60 and 70 people, the system's transport capacity can reach 75,000 passengers a day (18 hours service) and more than 27 million passengers a year.
The shuttles can be grouped up to five at the start and quickly distance themselves later to avoid overload on the rails and pylons. This way of doing so will accommodate from 60 to 350 passengers with a single synchronized departure.
It is also easy to introduce into the circuit, through regular traffic, shuttles specially adapted to the transport of goods, especially during the night.
