Coop MGV aims to create wealth for both its members and the community, turning it into a major economic player.
Cooperative’s mode also helps keep democratic control over the company’s development and its evolution. The company is a solidarity cooperative that belongs to its community members. Members of the cooperative remain the owners and choose together on development orientations and evolution of their company. The goal is to ensure that the company remains in Quebec, that its first profits go to Quebeckers and that the majority of the generated benefits by the project and its industrial partners belong to Quebeckers.
