High passenger capacity

In intercity mode, for greater comfort, the MGV welcomes about 60 passengers in each of its shuttles and some 10,000 to 15,000 passengers a day on the Montreal-Quebec City line ... and that, in addition to carrying merchandise through cargo shuttles.

In urban mode, operating almost like a rush-hour conveyor belt, the 100-passenger shuttles of a single circuit of the suspended monorail would follow each other every minute to carry up to 6,000 passengers per hour, per direction during rush hour.

With shuttles that can depart and follow each other at very short intervals carrying up to 100 people, the transport capacity of a single monorail circuit can reach 120,000 passengers per day (20-hour service) and more than 43 million per year.

The shuttles can be grouped up to five at the start and quickly distance themselves later to avoid overload on the rails and pylons. This way of doing so will accommodate from 60 to 500 passengers with a single synchronized departure.

It is also easy to introduce into the circuit, through regular traffic, shuttles specially adapted to the transport of goods, especially during the night.
